Opening day of New Jersey’s Trout season is right around the corner. This year opening day is April 10, 2021. You cannot start fishing until 8am. This is not a Lake Parsippany regulation, it’s a New Jersey regulation. Also, anyone 16 years or older, cannot attempt to take (or fish for), trout without a valid fishing license with a trout stamp attached. Fishing licenses are required to fish at Lake Parsippany.
No mask is needed while fishing but if you are fishing from the bank, a mask is recommended.
